I was in a very heated meeting at work yesterday when someone yelled

"Is it earthquake?! Do you feel the vibration?!"

Suddenly, everybody was lost and then only realized that we need to evacuate the building!

I came back to office today and noticed that the rest room mirror actually fell off from the wall! 

I have to say it had a rather aged fitting, and the nature just expedite the renewal process.

Today I travel alone to work. No Charlotte, no Abby...

It's a public holiday but due to business requirement we are asked to resume work schedule

but will have replacement later in May.

I thought I would enjoy a quite ride, 

but just only after 10minutes journey I felt lonely.

More so when I looked at the empty car seat besides me.

Charlotte is almost able to swim,

Abby is able to support herself on a donut float!

In average, Abby only spends 30min in the pool and Charlotte swims about an hour.

I was on medical leave today and should be staying home resting.

But by the time I finished all chores at home, it was almost 11.45am.

I thought I should give Charlotte a good surprise by showing up at school.

Indeed, she was very happy to see me but she gave herself a benefit of doubt,

and asked "mommy why are you here?"

She was smiling cheek to cheek when I confirmed that I was there to pick her up :)

An effortless action but I get a big smile in return...why not?

Abby sleeps on a mattress beside my bed.

First try, she didn't know what to expect.

Second try, she thinks it's interesting.

Third try, she gets the hang of it!

Now, she will make her way to the steps and attempt to go up.

Once she's on top, she doesn't care to give you any hint

but pushes herself down almost immediately!

The instruction given to Charlotte is no swimming and playground

during weekdays eventhough she has finished all her homework.

She has been a very good girl following the instruction.

When I'm home, I just need to check her homework :)
